For bold lettering, initials and simple logos, mainly on caps. The design is raised and visible from the side.
What creates the raised effect? Special foam beneath the stitches. The thread covers it, and we remove the excess foam after embroidering.
At least 12 pieces of the same article. It works best in wide letters and simple forms. The appropriateness of the design is checked before making.
Three answers, easier choice
What do you want to create?
Choose a product, design and number of pieces. We will show you where it makes sense to start.
Start with DTF printing

What should you consider?
Quality of the file and large full surface
Quantity, number of colours and suitable material
Small letters, details and density design
Narrow lines and small details are not appropriate
How does 3D puff work?
Foam beneath the thread. Raised texture above the fabric.
We place foam at the design position. The machine stitches over it using a specially prepared programme. The stitches cover the foam and retain its volume; we remove the excess foam.
Large, wide letters are therefore a good choice. Photographs, thin lettering and fine details do not work well with this effect.
Screen printing: ink is applied through a prepared screen.Embroidery: the design is built in thread, stitch by stitch.
Good to know.
Is screen printing always cheaper for larger quantities?
Not always. The selection is influenced by the number of colors, the size of the design, the location of the print and the material. In a larger series of the same simple design the screen printing is often meaningful; in a demanding multicolor illustration, DTF can be a better choice.
Can every image be embroidered?
Not every design is suitable for embroidery. Photographs, very small lettering, thin outlines and many fine details may need simplifying. We also check uploaded PNG files and confirm suitability after receiving your quote request, before production.
Why does embroidery need a special programme?
The machine needs information on stitches, stitch direction, density and colour order. An image alone does not contain this information. We prepare a programme for a new design; additional decoration positions are charged separately.
How do I care for a printed or embroidered product?
Follow the product label and the instructions provided with your order. Wash garments inside out, do not iron directly over the design and avoid heavy rubbing. Caps with 3D puff embroidery are generally cleaned gently by spot cleaning, in accordance with the product instructions.
Can I design my own product first?
Yes. In supported products, select the technique and click “Start to design”. Add design or text, adjust the layout and view the preview. Available techniques depend on the product; preview is help in designing.
