Embroidery on the chest of a work jacket
Red Jevšenak lettering and a white contact number sit beside the zip on a black-and-red jacket. This compact design shows how a company name can fit on the chest without crossing the zip or a pocket.
Machine-embroidered logos for businesses, clubs and teams. Classic and 3D puff embroidery on suitable fabrics.
ML Design offers machine embroidery for businesses, clubs and teams. We adapt logo embroidery to your chosen product: from embroidered everyday work clothing to caps for a coordinated team look.
Some designs stand out with classic embroidery; others benefit from a 3D puff effect. Together, we choose the size, thread colours and embroidery placement to suit the product. If lettering or details are too small, we adapt them before production.
For a coordinated business, club or team look, choose suitable polo shirts, hoodies, zip-up sweatshirts, fleece jackets, jackets or Workwear. We usually place a logo on the chest, sleeve or back. We check the actual placement and size against the cut, seams, pockets, zips and access to the fabric.
The fabric structure, thickness and stretch affect the stabiliser, stitch density and final design size. On thin or stretchy fabric, a dense, heavy design may cause puckering, so we reduce the density or simplify detail where needed. For fleece, we also consider surface fibres; for multilayer jackets, we check access to the selected placement. We agree on garment suitability and adaptations before production.

On the back, a crane, company name and contact number form one design. Red and white thread highlights the lines on the black fabric. The larger area allows a different arrangement of detail from a small chest logo.
View the embroidery project for Dvigi JevšenakWe adapt a cap logo to the shape of the headwear, available area and logo detail. On caps with a peak we consider the front panels and seams; on knitted winter hats we consider the knit density and cuff height.
Classic embroidery creates the design from thread; with 3D puff, foam under the stitches produces a more raised effect. Classic embroidery and raised 3D puff design are not interchangeable for every design. For fine lines, small lettering or intricate detail, we check how the logo should be adapted. Before production, we agree on dimensions, thread colours and design placement.

The contrast between turquoise thread and grey fabric brings the logo to the foreground. The geometric lines and placement above the peak show how a clearly designed logo can work on a curved surface.
For a similar order, we check the cap model, centre seams, logo size and readability of the details.

The turquoise and light parts of the logo stand out on the dark cuff. The photograph shows the same logo placement on several hats for a coordinated team look.
For knitted fabric, we check the cuff height, stretch and definition of the lines. We adapt small lettering where needed.

Send your logo in the highest-quality format available, preferably a vector file. At your desired size, we check lettering readability, line width and fine detail. We agree on any enlargement or simplification with you, then prepare an embroidery programme or stitch plan suited to the design, material and placement. An ordinary image file is not, by itself, an embroidery-machine programme.
The price depends on design size and complexity, product quantity, the number and accessibility of embroidery positions, and programme preparation. A new design requires a charge for preparing the embroidery plan; each additional position is charged separately. The minimum order is 12 of the same item with the same design, and colours and sizes can be combined. Different models are counted separately. We confirm the final method, price and timing in your quote after reviewing the details.
We use these details to check feasibility and prepare a quote. Production starts once the artwork, quote and agreed timing are approved.

Suitable polo shirts, sweatshirts, zip-up tops, fleeces, jackets and workwear. Before production, we check the material composition and structure, thickness, stretch and access to the chosen placement. Not every model suits every design.
We check the possibility of embroidering your own garments by prior arrangement. Include the material and quantity in your request, and attach a garment photograph and your logo. Before you deliver or send the clothing, we first confirm its suitability and agree on the work.
Not every image detail can be reproduced at the same size. Thread and needles need space, so we enlarge or simplify fine lines, small lettering or very dense designs where needed. We agree on any changes before preparing the embroidery programme.

The design is stitched directly into the fabric, so it does not peel away like an applied design. With proper care, it withstands regular use and washing well. Fabric quality and care also affect durability.
Follow the product care label. Turn the garment inside out before washing, avoid bleach and do not rub the design vigorously. Do not iron directly over the embroidery; iron from the inside or through a protective cloth.
Classic embroidery creates a slightly raised thread design. For 3D puff embroidery, foam is placed under the stitches to create a more pronounced raised effect. This method particularly suits larger lettering and simple shapes on caps.
A patch is a design embroidered onto a separate backing and then attached to the product. It is useful when direct embroidery is impractical or you want to use the same logo on several different products.
At ML Design, we can design your logo and visual identity. From the design stage, we consider how the artwork will look on a cap or garment and what can be embroidered effectively.
